Keep Tradify open for a week or two while you get comfortable in Gaffer. Re-running an import updates existing records rather than creating duplicates, so it's safe to top up as you go.
6. Go live

How long does it take to switch?
Most businesses are up and running in an afternoon. The flow is export from Tradify, run the import into Gaffer, check it looks right, then go live — usually a few hours rather than days.
Will I lose any data?
No. Your Tradify account stays exactly as it is until you choose to cancel it, so nothing is deleted on the old side. You import a copy into Gaffer and can keep both running in parallel for as long as you like.
Can I import a CSV export?
Yes. Gaffer imports standard CSV exports of customers, jobs, quotes and invoices, and where an API connection is available we can pull the data directly. Re-running an import updates existing records rather than creating duplicates.
Is there a cost to switch?
