Start the day knowing what is overdue
Your morning summary.
Part of communications & voice in Gaffer, which replaces personal WhatsApp, a mobile number and a lot of interruptions.

Customers kept informed without anyone pressing send.
Two-way SMS and email from one inbox, automatic updates at every job milestone, and an optional VoIP line with an AI receptionist that answers when you are on a roof.
The “what time are you coming?” calls stop, because the customer already knows.
Daily briefing is one of the 14 things in communications & voice. See the rest →
- A morning summary of the day: jobs, appointments, overdue invoices and anything urgent
- Delivered at the time you choose, by push notification and email
- The same picture for the owner and for each engineer, scoped to their own work
- Replaces the ten-minute phone call that used to start every morning
Step 04 of the job: on site
The engineer taps “On my way” and the customer gets a text with an arrival window. On site: clock in, photos, the certificate for the job — EICR, Gas Safety, whatever the trade needs — signed on the device. No signal? It syncs later.
Communications & Voice is where daily briefing sits, and that is the step it shows up in most. The rest of the job — quoting, scheduling, certificates, invoicing and payment — runs in the same system, on the same record. See the whole job →

What is daily briefing for?
A morning summary of the day: jobs, appointments, overdue invoices and anything urgent Delivered at the time you choose, by push notification and email
Do messages come from my own number?
Texts go from a dedicated business number so replies come back into Gaffer rather than to somebody’s personal mobile. Email is sent and received through your own mailbox.
Is there a limit on how much I can send?
Fair-use allowances cover normal trade volumes, and anything beyond that is passed through at cost rather than marked up. You will be told before it matters, not billed afterwards.
Which plan is it on?
Every paid plan. Daily briefing is included for unlimited users at no extra cost — the monthly, annual and lifetime plans differ only in how you pay.
